Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, Forte is currently receiving questions about extension of the project duration. Requests to extend the project duration are handled in accordance with Fortes normal procedures.

Grants from Forte are always available for a period of one year after the stipulated grant period has expired. This means, for example, that the funds for a three-year project may be used for four years. This provides opportunity to manage delays of up to one year within the existing availability period. If further extension is needed, the project leader submits a request in Prisma, according to Fortes normal procedures. You should not do this until the extent of the delay is known, i.e. later this year.
